I was raised with the idea that a woman should stay at home, bring honour to her family through an advantageous marriage and later through sons to make her family proud, but that was not for me, my soul screamed at me for years to release the wild and untamed woman I locked away when I was old enough to understand that I should not be that woman, for a long time I thought I could only bring honour to my family by marrying.
How much a person's soul can change in a short period of time, how much pain a woman must endure before she gives up, how much a child must obey her parents, when honour ceased to be important to me.
